1st Quarter Real Estate Market Update – Madison and Surrounding*
Locally, we saw 20.6% decrease in single-family homes and a 16.0% decrease in condos sold compared to last quarter. Overall the quarter seemed to remain steady compared to last year with just .3% fewer homes and 10.4% fewer condos sold compared to 1st quarter of 2023.
Even with those statistics, we see different numbers in different neighborhoods. What is happening in one area is not always happening in another regarding competing offers and average days on the market.
